We are now looking for experienced park workers for outdoor environment and park maintenance work for the upcoming season of 2026. The assignment is suitable for those who enjoy practical outdoor work, have relevant education and experience, and want to work in a team with clear routines and responsibilities.

The work involves ongoing maintenance and upkeep of parks and green areas.

About the role

As a park worker, you will work with various tasks within green area maintenance, including:

• Lawn mowing and trimming
• Hedge trimming and shrub pruning
• Clearing and basic tree maintenance
• Care of flower beds and plantings
• Irrigation
• Maintenance of playgrounds and park environments
• Work with motor-driven hand tools and park machines

The work is physical and takes place outdoors in all weather conditions.

Workplace and working hours

• Work takes place on-site in the outdoor environment
• Daytime, weekdays
• Full-time or part-time depending on needs
• The work area covers various locations within Tierp municipality

Must-have requirements (mandatory)

To be considered for the role, you must meet all the requirements listed below, and it should be clearly visible in your CV:

• At least 1 year of documented work experience in park maintenance/green area maintenance
• Good physical condition and experience with physical outdoor work
• Good understanding of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Ability to collaborate in a team and follow instructions

Desirable qualifications (meritorious)

• B driver's license
• Brush cutter certification
• Chainsaw certification
• Training in Work on Roads (1.1-1.3)
• Experience working with park and garden machinery
• Ability to present certificates and training documents upon request
• Experience with larger park machines
